About Me
I'm a Full Stack Engineer who loves brewing his own beer and smoking his own barbeque. Whether it's an IPA, a rack of ribs, or debugging code I simply love the details. I live in the DC Metropolitan Area and am one of those weird people who'd rather work in person. I've been a program manager for several years and recently took a deep dive into Web Development.
Front End
With a solid foundation in front-end development, specializing in DOM manipulation and leveraging React for building interactive and user-friendly interfaces. Proficient in JavaScript ES6+ and employing React Hooks, and I've successfully optimized performance through techniques like lazy loading and context, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience in projects.
Back End
With back-end expertise, particularly with FastAPI and Django 4, along with proficiency in database management using PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Skilled in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, I've successfully led a team through domain-driven design, resulting in the timely delivery of projects. Additionally, I have streamlined testing and deployment processes through the integration of GitLab CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and error-free project delivery.

As a full stack developer who's had managerial experience both in the US Army as an Operations Officer and as Program Manager I simply just love organizing.React & CSS

SQL & FastAPI
Building APIs. FastAPI or Django, I love to build APIs that are easy to use and easy to maintain.
Organization
If it can be organized. It will be. If it's something as simple as the README, to Domain Driven Design, or even a full blown project, it will always get the same level of detail.
Project Management
Empowering those around me to be the best they can be is what drives me as a leader. Learning to love the problem and not the solution is what I strive to instill in those around me.
